From award-winning designer Michael E. Nelson comes a stunning addition to our Farmhouse House Collection. With crisp, rustic elements, Timberland Ridge is a 1,998 sq.ft. farmhouse plan featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and 1 half-bath. This house plan is ideal for those on a narrow lot. The exterior of the home gives you great curb appeal with the lovely gables in the roof and the board and batten siding with wooden shingles as accents. With excellent storage options and linen spaces sprinkled throughout the home, the Timberland Ridge house plan is waiting for a family!

Lead-In Foyer

Stepping up to Timberland Ridge, you will begin on the cozy Covered Porch, framed in light, rustic wood and shake siding. Entering the front door, you begin in an open Foyer entrance. To the left is a mudroom entry to the 2-car garage, designed for bookbags, briefcases, work boots, and busy hands. Easily clean off and store your coats before relaxing into your day.

To the right, you will find Bedroom 2. This room receives copious amounts of light through the front windows, and a step-in closet gives plenty of storage space to use as a growing child’s bedroom or a Study.

Continuing through the Foyer, the Laundry Room can be found to the left and is designed to give “loads” of room to your laundry days. The rear of the room offers additional closet or storage space to help keep your chore day organized and efficient.

As you continue into the home, you will find yourself in a hallway housing the bathroom entrance to the right. This full bath is comfortably nestled just outside Bedroom 3, and directly across, a linen closet saves space in your bathroom while allowing easy storage and access to your linens and towels. Bedroom 3 receives natural lighting from the right window and contains a step-in closest for quick storage and clean-up. Opposite Bedroom 3 is the staircase leading to the bonus room and optional bathroom upstairs.

Open Floor Plan

Straight ahead, the Foyer opens into the Great Room, Kitchen, and Dining area, located at the very heart of the Timberland Ridge house plan. The vaulted ceilings are highlighted with exposed faux beams – a farmhouse favorite. To the right, the Great Room also includes a fireplace to whittle away those cool evenings comfortable and cozy.

The open floor plan allows the Great Room to flow smoothly into the Kitchen and Dining area. The Kitchen features a free-standing island with bar-seating for four, and a deep farm sink in this island faces the Great Room to allow for easy meal prep while keeping company with guests and loved ones. Beautifully lit with transom windows, this kitchen offers excellent counterspace for anyone, from the most elaborate chefs to the common bakers.

To the rear of Timberland Ridge is the Dining area. With a vaulted ceiling continuing and windows surrounding it, this space can be used as a formal dining room or a comfortable, casual breakfast nook.

Outdoor Living

Step onto the rear Grilling Porch through a set of French doors, which joins with an enormous window beside to offer a nice backyard view. The Grilling Porch boasts more than enough room for your gas grill and meat smoker, with room yet for a quaint patio set to birdwatching in the early mornings.

Master Suite Living

The Master Suite entrance lies just off the Great Room to the right of Timberland Ridge. The master bedroom is gloriously lit with windows at the side and rear, and allows you to quickly step onto the Grilling Porch to soak in the sunshine through its own private entry. The Master Bath leads way to all the amenities, including a free-standing tub, corner shower, and dual vanity. A large, enclosed toilet offers additional privacy, leaving room for others to shower or bathe freely. The Master Bath also houses access to the magnificently large walk-in closet with shelving.

Garage Pantry Access

Towards the front of this house plan, the Kitchen showcases traditional barn doors opening into a large chef’s pantry. This space is wonderful for extra storage and counterspace. Better yet, the pantry includes an additional entry into the 2-car garage. Simply unload your groceries directly into the pantry! An additional entry into the garage from the exterior side wall allows for swift movement to check on pets, kids, or summer projects.

Bonus Room Upstairs

Following the stairs outside the Great Room, you will find the Bonus Room. Ready for a comfortable den, library, game room, or children’s play area, the Bonus Room has space ready for a half bath. Natural lighting will flood the room from the windows located at the front and left side of the room to emphasis the comfortable, cozy space.
